During National School Breakfast Week, we recognize the amazing food service staff members who support students by preparing nutritious meals every day. Breakfast gives your brain the fuel it needs to problem solve, participate, and stay energized.

Tickets are now on sale for Van Meter Performing Arts’ production of “Annie Jr.,” and we encourage families to purchase in advance to secure their seats! 🎭

All tickets are $5 and must be purchased online prior to the performance. Please note that there will be no cash sales at the door. Performances will take place on March 5 at 6:00pm and March 6 at 3:00 and 6:00pm.

Mrs. Webster's 2nd graders and Mrs. Teigland's and Mrs. Lamoureux's 4th graders got together so the 2nd graders could share their nonfiction animal books with their 4th grade buddies. They were so excited to present their hard work to their buddy class! 📘

The 1st graders were excited to share their class flags at the Olympic Celebration at school on Friday! Students proudly presented their flags and enjoyed being part of the special event, celebrating school spirit and the Olympic theme with their classmates and throughout the school. 🏅

Join us for our Showcase tonight as we celebrate the incredible talents of our students and honor our seniors! 🎶

The performance will start at 6:30pm in the North Gym and will feature the 6th Grade Choir, Sparkline Express, and Vocal Loco-Motion.

We will be recognizing our graduating seniors during a special Senior Night celebration as we thank them for their dedication and leadership.

Career & Technical Education Month showcases the power of practical, career-focused learning.

CTE programs connect classroom instruction to real-world applications. These pathways open doors to high-demand careers across a wide range of industries! ⚙️🎓

We are proud to share that Keaton Mennen, Tate Doggett, and Henry Lounsbury have been selected to play in the 2026 Iowa Shrine Bowl, and Kahlen Luvaas will represent our district as a cheerleader. 🏈

The game will take place on July 25 at 4:00pm at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls. These students are currently selling tickets and sponsorships to help raise funds for Shriners Children’s Hospital. Last year’s participants raised an incredible $150,000 to support children in need!

Please consider supporting Keaton, Tate, Henry, and Kahlen as they make a difference through this meaningful event.

During National Engineers Week, we recognize and highlight the creativity and curiosity that drive engineering forward. From infrastructure to robotics, engineers help build a better world every day.

Students interested in STEM are encouraged to start exploring engineering through classes, clubs, and hands-on learning! ⚙️

Agriculture is vital to our community, our state, and our nation. We are proud of the strong participation in the Van Meter FFA program, where students develop leadership skills and gain hands-on experience that prepares them for the future.
