Please join us in welcoming Alyssa (Ally) Birt to Van Meter Schools! Ally will be joining us as our new secondary agricultural education teacher. 🌱

Alyssa is from Prescott and attended Southwestern Community College and Northwest Missouri State University. Her passion for agriculture began at a young age through 4-H and FFA, where she showed pigs and horses before continuing her love for the industry through barrel racing and rodeo.

Outside of the classroom, Ally enjoys spending time on her family’s Century Farm, where they currently operate a row crop operation and are looking to restart their cow-calf operation.

We are excited to have Ally share her experiences, knowledge, and love for agriculture with our students. We are thrilled to have you here!
