We’re excited to introduce Sashea Flaws as a new member of our staff for the 2026-27 school year! She will be joining us as a 4th grade teacher. 🍎

A Carlisle native, Sashea earned her degree from Upper Iowa University. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys watching Van Meter sporting events, spending time with her two daughters, reading books, and playing outside.

We’re looking forward to seeing the connections Sashea will build with students and families throughout the school year. We are happy to have her with us!

Pay starts at $28/hour. The candidate will need a Class B CDL with passenger, school bus, and air brake endorsements. Van Meter Schools will provide training and assistance to help obtain the proper licensure.
