Our 4th graders had an amazing day learning about agriculture with a visit from a mobile agriculture classroom! 🌱🚜
Students explored a variety of hands-on learning stations where they discovered how plants grow and why agriculture is so important in our everyday lives. They loved stepping into virtual reality experiences, getting an up-close look at farming in a whole new way!
One of the highlights of the day was the sunflower seed planting station, where each student planted their own seeds and learned what plants need to grow and thrive. 🌻
Special thank you to Iowa Agricultural Literacy Foundation for bringing this opportunity to our school!

Our 4th graders had fun tracking medal counts from the 2026 Winter Olympics and turning the data into meaningful math practice! 🥇
Students recorded gold, silver, and bronze totals, organized their data, and created both bar graphs and line plots to compare countries and answer questions. 📊
This project deepened their data analysis skills while helping them see how math applies to real-world events happening around the world.
