Happy Halloween, Van Meter! 👻

During technology time with Mrs. Miller, our preschoolers created #augmentedreality pumpkins using the QuiverVision app and coloring sheets for Halloween. It was so much fun! 🎃

2nd grade wrapped up their science unit on animal classifications with a visit from the Blank Park Zoo's Zoo to You program! Students met Noodle, an indigo snake, and Fergus, a whistling duck. They learned more about reptiles and birds through this experience, along with some fun facts about both Noodle and Fergus. 🐍🦆

Recently, our 2nd and 4th grade buddies teamed up for a festive activity—Roll a Jack-o'-Lantern! 🎲🎃

Our High School Knowledge Bowl team placed 5th at the state contest hosted by DMACC in Ankeny last Thursday! 🧠
