During Fire Prevention Week, we encourage families to talk about their plans in case of a fire in the home. Here are some quick tips:

✅ Practice your escape plan twice a year
✅ Make sure kids know how to dial 911
✅ Teach everyone to stay low and go if there’s smoke
✅ Agree on a meetup place after evacuating the home

Schedule update 🚨

Due to today’s weather conditions, our cross country teams will now compete at the North Polk Invitational at North Polk Community Schools, 311 NE 141st Street, Alleman, IA.

➡️ 4:15pm: Middle School Girls
➡️ 4:35pm: Middle School Boys
➡️ 5:00pm: High School Girls (Varsity and JV)
➡️ 5:30pm: High School Boys (Varsity and JV)

Admission is $8 per person at https://tickets.gobound.com/tickets/events/h20241014062959352bf92cc78ac3f48/checkout. Credit or debit card only—no cash accepted.

Fan parking is available in the High School and Middle School lots. Spectators are not allowed on the west side of the creek near the bridge area.

Schedule Update for Monday, October 6, 2025

Just a reminder for families: There will be an early dismissal on Thursday, October 9 at 1:30pm. Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place from 3:00 to 7:00pm. 🍎

There is no school on Friday, October 10.
