Our #VanMeter Student Conservation Club (VMSCC) had their senior trip to South Dakota last weekend!

The senior members hiked in two National Parks, two state parks, one shared National Forest and Wilderness Area, and climbed to the top of Black Elk Peak.

This week, our 7th grade science students built paper rockets and launched them to find out which designs flew the highest. 🚀

We started one of our favorite district traditions today—Elementary Buddy Classes! 💙

Kylie graduated from Northwest Missouri State University. She enjoys making memories with friends and family, exploring new places around the world, and watching sports.

Bree is an Iowa State University graduate and previously worked for Van Meter Schools as a teacher's associate.

“I love boating with my family and traveling to cheer on my two boys at their sporting events,” she says. “I also enjoy going on long walks with a good podcast, and every once in a while, I like to dive into a fun DIY project.”
