The Iowa Department of Education recently released the education profiles for all 1,282 public schools in Iowa. This is the third year of grades given to schools. Fortunately, our three buildings have performed very well. This year, all three buildings were graded as high-performing. They are considered in the top 12-13% of all schools no matter the grade configuration. 66.31 was the score needed to be in the exceptional level. Only 19 schools scored over that mark. Our high school actually scored as the highest performing high school according to this profile. There are several data points collected by the state to determine the scores.
