Van Meter Community School District Launches New Brand

VAN METER, IA — The Van Meter Community School District has released new district branding that will take effect July 1, 2026, including a new lettermark, redesigned Bulldog logo, and official branding guidelines.

The updated branding establishes a consistent visual identity for the district while also protecting district trademarks and reducing the risk of unauthorized or improper use of district logos and artwork. All logos and graphic elements included in the district's branding guide are trademarks of VMCSD.

"These branding updates are about more than a new look," said Superintendent Deron Durflinger. "They help tell the story of who we are as a district while protecting the identity our students, staff, alumni, and community members have built over generations. It's important that our brand reflects the pride, tradition, and excellence that people in our community and beyond associate with Van Meter Schools."

The branding guide establishes standards for the use of district logos, colors, typography, and other visual elements across school communications, publications, athletics, digital platforms, and promotional materials.

Organizations, businesses, and individuals interested in using district logos or branding elements must receive approval from the district. To request logo usage, contact Eric Trudo at eric.trudo@vmbulldogs.com or Mike Linde at mike.linde@vmbulldogs.com.
